Amid the unchanging loop of everyday life, there's a fleeting sense of discomfort-subtle, but undeniable. 'We are a Rockband' is an original track that captures that restless feeling in your heart-the moment when we all, at some point, drifted apart, lost our way, and nearly let go of our dreams. This song is our cry, carried on the power of rock.
What this song portrays:
- That sense of anticipation-'something's about to change'-even on a morning just like any other
- The contradiction between childhood dreams and the reality of growing up
- The unspoken emotions that surface in solitude
- And above all, the bond with friends rekindled through a shared belief in music
The lyrics resonate with the struggle to stay true to yourself, even in the face of absurdity and inner conflict.
A question for every listener: 'Even on a morning like any other, do you feel like something might change?'
We're here to deliver that feeling to you.
A shape shifting entertainment big band formed by working professionals in their 30s to 50s. With every song, the lineup and instrument roles change, incorporating dance, skits, self-made music videos, and even independent films. Their hallmark is a stage that feels like a cultural festival for working adults. It all began in 2011 when Naka-P picked up a guitar for the first time, driven by the conviction that life is too short to be just about work. Since then, they've balanced weekday business attire with weekend artistry. Their repertoire includes a wide range of covers from JPOP and Western music to jazz and enka as well as original songs infused with a uniquely corporate-worker perspective. Their sound is full of potential and growth. In 2019, they performed at the Hino Music Festival, and since then, they have produced and shared over 400 videos on their weekly updated YouTube channel, Music Pair Channel. They also host online live shows and regular in person gigs at a pizza restaurant in Machida.
