[Catchphrase]
Stepping off the beaten path to find a meaning all my own.
[Description]
Another ordinary morning, another day spent feeling like a mere cog in the corporate machine, and the bittersweet realization of how our childhood dreams shift as we grow older. We all find ourselves pausing at some point, asking: "What truly matters to me right now?"
The new single, "Yokomichi Sono Michi" (meaning "The Side Roads, Those Roads"), is an introspective, down-to-earth medium-tempo track that captures these everyday struggles, unfulfilled expectations, and the subtle ways we change over time.
Though life today might look a bit different from the future we once imagined, this song reminds us that taking a detour-or wandering down a side road-has its own beauty. It is on these unexpected paths that we find warmth and discover the hidden significance within an otherwise ordinary life. Dedicated to everyone navigating the complexities of adulthood, this track offers a gentle, comforting embrace and a quiet cheer for your journey, wherever it may lead.
A shape shifting entertainment big band formed by working professionals in their 30s to 50s. With every song, the lineup and instrument roles change, incorporating dance, skits, self-made music videos, and even independent films. Their hallmark is a stage that feels like a cultural festival for working adults. It all began in 2011 when Naka-P picked up a guitar for the first time, driven by the conviction that life is too short to be just about work. Since then, they've balanced weekday business attire with weekend artistry. Their repertoire includes a wide range of covers from JPOP and Western music to jazz and enka as well as original songs infused with a uniquely corporate-worker perspective. Their sound is full of potential and growth. In 2019, they performed at the Hino Music Festival, and since then, they have produced and shared over 400 videos on their weekly updated YouTube channel, Music Pair Channel. They also host online live shows and regular in person gigs at a pizza restaurant in Machida.
