Natsumi Murota and Saya Fujieda's split EP Futari wa Tabi-no-Tochu (Two are on a journey).
The two have known each other for about four years in Tokyo, but Saya Fujieda decided to move her base to Iwate Prefecture, leading to the release of this EP.
Three songs are included in the album, with M1 Haru ni nara narawritten, composed and sung by Natsumi Murota. M2 Sahara is written, composed and sung by Saya Fujieda. I believe that people sometimes suffer from binding their feelings without knowing it. M3 Futari wa Tabi-no-Midway is a song written and composed by Natsumi Murota and arranged and sung by Natsumi Murota and Saya Fujieda.
The song is inspired by their trip to Shimane in September 2024 for a live concert, and uses their life as a journey.
Originally from Shimane Prefecture, she began writing songs in high school after receiving her first guitar. In June 2019, she released her first acoustic project, Kono Koe de. That same year, she won the grand prize in the audition for a performance slot at New Acoustic Camp 2019, earning a spot on the festivals lineup. In July 2021, she released her 1st mini album, Soba ni Inakutemo Kawaranai Mono ga Aru. The title track, The Beach Boys, was selected as TOKYO FMs Monthly Push Song. In July 2022, she released her 2nd mini album, Kanojo wa Gray no Naka. In December 2023, she performed as a guest vocalist for MikitoP at Tokyo International Forum Hall A. In April 2024, her song HOME was chosen as the ending theme for the Matsue Marble TV show Please Tell Me How the Food Feels, Sugi-chan. In March 2025, she released a split single, Futari wa Tabi no Tochuu, in collaboration with Saya Fujieda. In April 2025, she took part in a web commercial for niko and, performing a cover of Tamio Okudas classic song Sasurai. In May 2025, the film Nacchan, All Wrapped Up!, featuring her first-ever movie theme song, was officially selected for screening at the Yokohama International Film Festival. In July 2025, she released her digital single Tooku Natteku.
