Artist Profile

  Born in Kanagawa, Japan. A regular office worker and a father of two. Finding small pockets of time between work and family life, playing guitar and singing is my greatest joy. I started playing guitar at 14, and by 17 I had my first MTR. I got hooked on the process of turning rough ideas into real sounds. There haven't been any big achievements to brag about. During the pandemic, I went nearly a year without touching my guitar. I even had surgery, and since then I've felt like I can't sing the way I used to. But still, here I am-writing music, playing, making sound. In 2020, I released a mini-album "Raise wa Saba (I'll Be a Mackerel in My Next Life)" with my band PAPA brio. In 2023, I released my first solo album "Restart". I have a deep love for funk-letting the groove carry me, turning the ups and downs of everyday life into rhythm and lyrics, and laughing my way through it all.
