On July 13, 2025, Miwako Yamane will release her second single, "Sea of Hope."
In addition to her work as a singer-songwriter, Miwako Yamane is active in a wide range of musical pursuits, including songwriting for other artists, commercial music, and film scoring.
A long-awaited studio version of "Sea of Hope," a song that has been performed many times at her live shows, is finally being released.
As with her January release "Sunny Day," this new single features lyrics and composition by Yamane herself, with arrangement by the band Miwako Yamane Quartet-formed through her live performances (Vocal/Piano: Miwako Yamane, Guitar: Tomoyoshi Hirano, Bass: Harumoto Uchida, Drums: Masaki Kitayama).
The recording was made with live performances by the band.
With story-driven lyrics, Yamane's voice-shaped by her upbringing in the coastal town of Onomichi, Hiroshima-and the warm, enveloping sound of the quartet, the song invites listeners into a soothing wave of sound.

    Miwako Yamane is a Japanese singer-songwriter and composer from Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. She also serves as an Onomichi Tourism Ambassador. In addition to her work as an artist, she is involved in composing and producing music for commercials, movies, TV dramas, and stage productions, as well as providing songs and performing vocals.
