Staring at the view outside my window pane

Everything’s the same, washed in the usual rain

Nothing should have changed, that’s what I believed

But inside my eyes, the canvas was deceived

Fading out of sight, losing every trace

All the colors draining from this empty space

Tell me what to do, how to make it bright?

How do I return the color to my sight?

In a world without color, inside this gray zone

Is it joy or despair? I can’t tell apart

Out of this dark castle where the shadows try to prove

Suddenly a flash of light, reflecting through the space

Just for a second, caught a glimpse of a beautiful place

Wrapping me so gently, healing all the scars

Shining down upon me like a million stars

Now the world without color is turning bright and new

Changing to a world of color, shifting in its hue

Now inside my eyes, the spectrum starts to rise

Saying my goodbyes to the old illusions and lies

The canvas and the heart that were painted slate gray

I don't need them anymore, throw them all away

Building up a bridge of dreams, arching to the sky
