  Singer-songwriter. With a voice that combines emotional sensitivity with quiet strength, and lyrics that carefully capture the feelings found in everyday life, Risa Omayu creates music that stays close to the hearts of her listeners. She began her career in entertainment at the age of ten, when she joined a theater company. At fourteen, she was deeply moved by the music of Japanese singer-songwriter Ayaka, inspiring her to pursue a career in music with the hope of moving others through her own songs and words. During high school, she began writing and composing original music while performing in a band. After graduating, she officially launched her career as a singer-songwriter. She released her first single, Zenmai Pierrot, in March 2016, followed by her second single, Himawari, in September 2018. She continued to perform at live music venues and various events, including her own solo concerts. In 2021, she released her mini-album, bouquet. The COVID-19 pandemic led her to reconsider how she could share her music with others. She began reaching audiences across Japan through social media and livestreaming, building meaningful connections with listeners online while continuing to write, produce, and release original music. In 2025, she released the digital single To My Dear You. In recent years, she has expanded her activities both online and offline, appearing on an official TikTok music program and receiving invitations to perform at live shows and music events. Through her own words and melodies, she expresses the uncertainty and struggles of life, as well as the feelings we hold for the people who matter most. Her goal is to create music that gently stands beside her listeners and gives them a reason to move forward once again. She is currently active across a wide range of projects, with a focus on writing and releasing original music, as well as performing at live shows and events.
