Agate

Formed in 2024, this collective consists of poet Oscar, composer sleepyflax, and filmmaker Keita Ito. With the concept, "May your story refract beautifully," we craft a unique world of spoken word poetry through lyrical imagery and cinematic soundscapes. Our work is sentimental, sometimes violent. Words constantly seek the light, while sound commands the space, offering listeners new stories and a beautiful distortion that reaches deep within.

The second piece, Agate, explores the transience of time and existence, alongside the desire to attain lasting significance. Set against a fragile yet grand soundscape that evokes the feeling of wandering aimlessly through the vastness of nature, it weaves a reflection on the question of the meaning of one's existence.
