C'est la vie

The three-member virtual idol unit epeler, featuring ChumuNote, Yuzuha, and Flare Rune, will release its new song "C'est la vie" on streaming platforms on November 13. Lyrics, music, and arrangement are by Sasuke Haraguchi.

The title "C'est la vie" comes from the French expression "C'est la vie," meaning "That's life" or "Such is life." But the lyrics tell of a love that is not so easy to move on from. Even while trying to convince themselves that hope is just a passing whim, the narrator can't help but keep waiting. If only love were easy to cast aside, they could forget - these conflicted feelings echo through the repeated refrain, "C'est la vie."

Unresolved longing and emotions that are hard to let go of drift through the atmosphere of the night. The trio's voices come together in harmonies where low and high registers resonate, bringing the song to life. It leaves behind a bittersweet afterglow.
