  Formed in 2008, nego consists of ΣKIYM (violin), mitchel (VJ/visuals), KazPhantasmo_V (bass), and Gan (guitar, tabla). In live performances, they are joined by support members on drums, percussion, and didgeridoo, pursuing a unique hybrid club sound that fuses live instrumentation, electronic textures, and immersive visual production. Their shows, where sound and visuals are intricately linked, create expansive spaces that fully engage the audience's senses. The band has also released numerous tracks featuring guest vocals. Since their formation, nego has been active both domestically and internationally, performing at major festivals in Japan and embarking on a Taiwan tour in 2019. They have earned strong recognition at events such as DJ BAKU's KAIKOO MUSIC FESTIVAL. In 2024, nego released their fourth album Yoru Nomad. In March 2025, they followed it with a 12-inch analog edition, Yoru Nomad - Gold Vinyl. The album explores themes of nocturnal journeys and resonance, weaving elements such as oscillating repetitions that communicate with the night, the dismantling of Hindu musical traditions, and the reconstruction of Detroit techno grooves. Critics have noted its contrasts between darkness and light, life and rebirth, as well as the motif of the "nomad" as a journey across inner and outer worlds.
