(Hey Kai how’s it goin’? )
(I.l.y, i.l.y, i.l.y)
My bad, uhhh
My bad, yeah yeah
My bad, uhhh
Okay, yeah, uh
Girl, if I said i.l.y would you mind baby?
Can you save me time, can you tell me if I’m what you want
Yeah, yeah, what you want, yeah yeah
What you want
What you want
I hit Melrose I hit Beverly, feelin’ myself heavily
I hit Harajuku for the weekend, shit you never see
Cause you out up in the hills, while I’m out here in the bay
From Tokyo I’m callin’ you on your phone out in LA
When you check your phone, there's gon’ be a message from Tokyo
Tellin’ you could come stay, you stay a couple days
Baby come my way, come my way today
We could eat at little Tokyo if it’s up on the way, ay, ay
Baby don’t talk too much, baby don’t say too much
Baby dont do too much, let it just come your way
Tell me if you need more, cause we got pre-rolls
Yeah yeah
I got the front seat row yeah, if you tryna see more
Yeah yeah
So baby just come my way
If you just tryna roll up
Just come my way, if you need that dirty soda
If you o.m.w, you just let me know
If you tryna stay with me baby
Let's keep it on the low
If I said i.l.y would you mind baby?
Can you save me time, can you tell me if I’m what you want
Yeah, yeah, what you want, yeah yeah
What you want
What you want
I, I’m on the way Tokyo to Cali
I, I’ll find my way, girl don’t doubt me
White gold on my chain straight from Akiyama, ay
200 on this diamond chain
Shawty go low low low low bae
Take it slow slow slow slow bae
Girl I know you like these diamonds could be your your your your’s bae
I need more more more more bae
Girl I’ll fold fold fold fold bae
If you let me taste that candy girl just put it on my face
Woah, say my name I’m at the door
Got your clothes on the floor
We could do a couple rounds before you head back home
Is it you, on the way?
Hopin’ you don’t complicate
Is it too much to say?
1,2,3, got me in my feelings like
(Hey Kai)
If I said i.l.y would you mind baby?
Can you save me time, can you tell me if I’m what you want
Yeah, yeah, what you want, yeah yeah
What you want

Kaikun Returns with New Single "i.l.y" Featuring Issei Uno Fifth
Following a strong start to 2026, Kaikun returns with his latest single, "i.l.y," featuring rising Japanese artist Issei Uno Fifth. The release marks the second collaboration between the two artists, following their previous single "HUMAN MADE", released in February 2026.
Issei Uno Fifth has quickly established himself as one of Japan's most exciting emerging voices, working alongside some of the country's biggest names including JPTHEWAVY, LEX, and Lana. His ability to bridge underground credibility with mainstream appeal has positioned him at the forefront of Japan's evolving hip-hop scene.
Drawing from their shared experiences living in America and their deep roots in contemporary American hip-hop culture, Kaikun and Issei Uno Fifth create a sound that seamlessly blends Western influences with modern Japanese trends. The result is a record that reflects the growing global identity of Japan's next generation of artists.
Produced by ANH, an Australian producer whose credits include internationally recognized artists such as Destroy Lonely and bbno$, "i.l.y" delivers a fresh fusion of melodic rap, modern hip-hop production, and crossover pop sensibilities.
Combining the energy of America's rising underground sound with the accessibility of mainstream Japanese music, "i.l.y" represents a new wave of genre-blending artistry. As Japan's music landscape continues to evolve, the single stands as a strong example of where the country's contemporary sound is headed in 2026 and beyond.
Artist Profile
Kaikun
Born in Boston Massachusetts in 2003, Kaikun spent his developing years in America before moving to Japan as a young teen. Spending primary developing years as a teenager in Japan he has grown a liking to music being influenced by both American and Japanese pop. As a bilingual artist, he incorporates both English and Japanese in his music, a vital component of his songwriting skills that separates him from the rest of the music scene in Japan. For three years he has been releasing various albums with over one hundred songs on SoundCloud alongside his close friend Nonchan. In 2021, his talent was discovered by a studio recording group based in Tokyo. Since then he has been able to consistently make professional-quality songs at a rapid pace due to his ability to freestyle melodies over beats. The focal point of his style is the unorthodox top lines he creates for his songs. Currently, he has over 50 of his best songs to date waiting to be released. He also has been writing songs for Major Labels in Japan. Being able to both rap and sing, his career is promising as his diversity shines through the Japanese musical artist scene in 2022.
