------
This work grew out of a series of sketches, born from a desire to give sound to what was in my heart and find a release. It is a work that could be called the "externalization of memory," and it is also a presentation of freedom to myself.
I used only one instrument: the piano, which feels closer to my body than any other instrument. Formally, it is a solo piano improvisation. Looking back, I feel that I was deeply choosing every note in each passing moment. In those times, I focused all my senses--fingertips, keys, the resonating sounds, ears, and the feedback to my fingertips--on outputting my heart. That said, it feels like it is just passing through.
In the end, the track order follows the exact order of the recordings, which were done between May 20 and June 6, 2026. Whenever I felt something in my heart and wanted to release it, I would face the piano with something of a few rules in my mind: keep that feeling gently in my heart, record from the very first note, and stop playing the moment I felt I had put it all out for now. If even a single note or word happened to take shape, I chose not to play.
As well as being precious treasures to me, I hope that sharing these pieces will bring new sights to these sketches, allowing me to find a sense of peace.
Born in 1985. I have lived with music since starting the piano at age 3. I began with classical piano, but discovered rock as a student and also took up the guitar and bass. I love singing and have experience in chorus. In my 30s, I became interested in jazz piano, attended jam sessions, and had the experience of playing four-hands with the late Chick Corea, which greatly influenced me. Living with autism spectrum disorder, I suffered from bipolar disorder during my student years. After dropping out of high school, I went to music university but dropped out. I have about 10 years of experience in "Hikikomori." Currently raising my child and raising myself. Living in the present, fueled by experience. My songwriting is lyrics-first. My main instruments are keyboards.
