You stand by the winter sea
Hands in your pockets, eyes so far away
The waves keep asking questions
You never try to answer, anyway
Cold wind cuts through silence
Like words you almost said
Every step you didn’t take
Still echoes in your head
You’re not weak for looking back
You’re brave for staying still
The ocean knows your secret
Even if no one else will
The horizon isn’t ending
It’s just holding its breath
Waiting for the moment
You forgive yourself
If you cry, let the tide know
If you fall, let it see
Even broken reflections
Still belong to the sea
Someday you’ll turn your shoulders
Toward a softer light
But tonight, stay where you are
With the truth in sight
You don’t have to run tomorrow
You don’t have to decide
The winter sea remembers
Every dream you hide

Still Standing by the Shore - A Poetic Winter Song of Reflection -
DJ LYNTRA
Still Standing by the Shore is an intimate winter ballad that captures a quiet moment of self-reflection by the sea.
Set against a cold shoreline, the song explores memories left unspoken, the weight of hesitation, and the gentle strength found in standing still.
With fragile yet warm female vocals, minimalist piano, soft strings, and subtle acoustic textures, the track unfolds slowly-allowing silence and space to carry as much emotion as the melody itself.
Rather than rushing toward answers, the song embraces uncertainty, forgiveness, and emotional resilience.
This is a song for winter nights, for moments when looking back is not weakness, but honesty.
A poetic reminder that even in stillness, growth is already beginning.
