【Gods of Decay ゴッズ オブ ディケイ】 Gods of Decayは、2018年にジョージア出身のボーカリスト Anna と日本人ギタリスト Frost により東京で結成されたポストグランジ／ゴシックメタルバンド。 Annaの表現力豊かなボーカルと文学的な歌詞、Frostによるメタルを軸としたギターワークと、メロディアスな楽曲を融合し、ポストグランジ、ゴシック、メタルを横断するサウンドを展開。 2021年12月、ヨーロッパのメタルレーベル Sliptrick Records と契約し、1stフルアルバム『Collective Psychosis』を全世界リリース。同作はiTunes Storeメタルアルバムランキングで初登場4位を記録した。さらに収録シングルも軒並みチャートインを記録した。 アルバム収録曲「Suffocate You」のミュージックビデオは、2021年12月7日付のiTunes StoreおよびApple MusicのメタルMVランキングで1位を獲得。さらに、日本のバンドとしては異例となるイギリスのiTunesメタルビデオチャートでも1位を獲得する快挙を達成し、長期にわたりチャートイン。ランクイン日数は300日を記録した。 また、シングル「Nightmare」のミュージックビデオは動画配信サービスGYAO!で配信され、46万回を超える視聴数を記録。映像作品としても注目を集めた。 作品は国内外のメディアで紹介され、アルバム収録曲「Forbidden Fruit」は、海外音楽誌 Metal Hammer Portugal がリニューアル発行した音楽誌『Guitarrista』のオムニバスCDにも収録された。 リーダー兼ギタリストの Frost は、ブラジルの弦メーカー SG Strings とエンドースメント契約を締結。さらに、日本の人気ペダルブランド Sound Project "SIVA" ともエンドースメント契約を結んでいる。 また、福島の人気ペダルブランド THE NEXT SOUND からは、Frostのシグネチャーペダルが発売されている。 2022年7月からはラジオ川越にて、Gods of Decayがパーソナリティを務めるラジオ番組がスタート。幅広い活動を行っている。
