Furaibou

"Furaibou" is a piece I wrote on the theme of the reality one encounters when pursuing one's dreams.

In this day and age, thanks to technological advances, I feel that the barrier to pursuing one's dreams has become lower than it used to be. I also believe that dreams are a very quick and cost-effective way to express one's existence. This is because pursuing a dream enriches one's life, allows you to meet all sorts of people, and ensures you never get bored. However, I also believe that if you pursue them too fervently, you end up comparing yourself to others, feeling a strong sense of inferiority, coming face to face with reality, and experiencing overwhelming anxiety. I think that because the barrier to pursuing one's dreams has lowered, there are many cases nowadays where people chase dreams that are beyond their means, needlessly plunging themselves into despair.

I consider myself to be one of those people.

It is precisely because I am like this that I've expressed the feelings of not knowing what to do-trying to become someone I'm not despite lacking the qualifications, hurting myself unnecessarily, losing hope whilst refusing to face reality-alongside the resolve to confront that very reality.

Although the content is very sombre, I'd like people who feel despair about their own lives, who have nowhere to turn with their feelings and feel there's nothing they can do, to give this a listen!
