"Correspondence" is a piano piece born from the themes of letter-writing and correspondence.
A letter addressed to someone, words that reach across time, and quiet emotions before they take shape as language. Through Hiroki Saitoh's delicate piano tones, the piece portrays these invisible exchanges.
The work also draws inspiration from "Correspondances," an exhibition of photographic and quilt-based works by stylist Hiroko Yamamoto. The artwork for this release features a photograph directed and styled by Hiroko Yamamoto and captured by photographer Kyoko Munakata.
The music resonates with the exhibition's serene atmosphere, expressing the feelings held within letters and the subtle presence of emotions passing back and forth before they become words, through an intimate piano performance.
