Et in Arcadia ego

Third single "Et in Arcadia ego" to be released in August 2023.
Unlike the previous album, which was completely self-produced, this album was mixed and mastered by Kensei Ogata and recorded at STUDIO CRUSOE in Tokyo.
The album artwork was done by Morisakorisa, an oil painter who is currently an art student, as in the previous album.
This work is a delicate and cruel depiction of sensitive adolescence, which is often depicted beautifully, in the manner of aruga.
The title, "Et in Arcadia ego," is an oil painting by the 17th century painter Nicolas Poussin, which inspired the creation of this work.
This work also incorporates a shoegaze sound and skillfully incorporates lyrical melodies and storytelling lyrics into the world of the music.
The band has garnered increasing attention through their appearance at last year's Ringo Music Festival, playlists, and a series of single releases, and now a music video for the song, a first for aruga, is scheduled to be released on YouTube.
