Return and Twilight (Scarlet Vocal Version)

Return and Twilight is a Scarlet Vocal Works track about the desire to return to a place that feels true, even when reaching that place means moving forward rather than going back.

Beginning with a quiet wish to return, the song gradually expands into a surreal landscape filled with auroras, red fruit, twilight, and a flagship arriving from beyond the horizon.

Scarlet moves through this world with an emotional and powerful vocal performance, while heavy guitars give weight to the changing imagery. Repeating Japanese words with similar sounds transform the idea of return into something larger, moving between departure, memory, machinery, and time.

At its heart, Return and Twilight asks a simple question.

What if returning to yourself requires beginning another journey?

A song of twilight, change, and departure from Scarlet Vocal Works.
