In April, they welcomed Rirua Aoi and Miyu Yanagi as new members, and started their activities as a new six-member group. In May, they released their first song "Barikata Pride," and in August, they released "Free na Nami ni Norite" composed by Kenta Matsukuma. The song was chosen as the theme song for the 2021 tvk high school baseball broadcast, and has become a hot topic this summer.
They are also continuing to collaborate with leading technology companies, and started distributing VR videos on DMM.com in September.
In addition, they just held their first tour after their six-member group, and the Zepp Yokohama and Zepp Fukuoka shows were a great success.

At the end of the tour, they suddenly announced their new song "Watashi, koi dake tatte yo! The song has a cute, sad chorus and a rap part that sounds like a conversation, and it unfolds with a solid beat, drawing you into the world of Basho's faint love the more you listen to it. Following on from the hit tune "OiSa" released last year, Shinobu Watanabe (ASPARAGUS) has written the lyrics and handled all the sound, and in collaboration with choreographer air:man, this long-awaited new song foretells the arrival of the strongest season in Basho's history.
