"Sunshine New Wave" is a new single from t.r.a.n.e, an up-and-coming new soul band influenced by city pop, AOR, fusion, vaporwave, and gospel, which is active under the concept of "rethinking pop music"! It's a funky and soulful summer tune with lyrics that seem to have been cut out from a scene at the beach in midsummer. This new song, completely written with the theme of "sea", is a must-listen to as a soundtrack to color this summer.
This is a pre-release single cut from the latest work "Sea of Love 3" (released in August 2025) of the surf music compilation "SALT... meets ISLAND CAFE" supervised by the magazine "SALT...", which proposes new values in beach lifestyle and surf culture.

    Formed on April 7, 2024 in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture. All lyrics, compositions, and arrangements are done by the band itself. Influenced by city pop, AOR, fusion, vaporwave, and gospel, the band works with the concept of "rethinking pop music". They began performing live in August 2024, and released their first single "A.O.R" in October of the same year. On November 30, 2024, they performed on the street in Shinjuku, Tokyo. During this time, Suga Shikao passed by and posted on X (formerly Twitter) "The band Train was playing on the street in front of Busta in Shinjuku, they were really FUNK," which became a hot topic on social media.
