Lyric

Selfless Choice

Eighty's Mind Judgement

I carve my name into the fire

Cut away the selfish side

No crown, no grace, no shelter

Just the will I cannot hide

Scars don’t fade, they stack and burn

Every step is paid in blood

I don’t wait for fate to move

I decide, I stand, I judge

Fear speaks loud

But I speak first

I choose the ground

I choose the worst

This is my selfless choice

Not a tragedy, not a lie

I take the weight, I take the strike

So what I guard survives

This is my selfless choice

No shame, no doubt, no disguise

I stand the line, I face the night

So what I guard survives

Home behind me, storm ahead

Names I carry on my back

I don’t need applause or praise

I hold the line, I stop the crack

Orders fall, the pressure climbs

Seconds burn, decisions bite

I don’t turn, I don’t retreat

I move forward into fight

I don’t ask

To be saved

I step up

I engage

This is my selfless choice

Built to hold, not built to flee

I take the fire, I take the cost

So they can breathe, so they stay free

This is my selfless choice

Say it clear, say it loud

I choose the weight

I choose the ground

Responsibility

Is not chains

It’s the ground

Where I remain

I chose this role

I chose this place

I face the blast

I take the break

No step back

No excuse

This is the line

I choose

This is my selfless choice

I wear it hard, I wear it proud

I stand my ground, I take the hit

I won’t bow down, I won’t bow down

This is my selfless choice

Not imposed, not enforced

I chose this weight

I chose this course
