Drawing from UK bass, IDM, breakcore, glitch, and experimental club music, dogeatingdogs builds tracks around aggressive rhythms and distorted sound design. Unpredictable breaks, vocal-like wobble basses, chopped vocals, glitches, and noise are layered and reshaped into dense sonic collages, balancing physical grooves with experimental sound design. Rooted in club music but unconcerned with genre boundaries, dogeatingdogs explores unstable rhythms, fractured textures, and unconventional sound structures to create a distinctive approach to contemporary electronic music. His work extends beyond music, including production for A.B.C-Z, music for fashion brands such as NISHIMOTO IS THE MOUTH and KURO DENIM, and a visual collaboration with animation artist zecin that received an Excellence Award at the Tokyo University of the Arts Art Festival 2021.
