I am a Japanese transgender person. Since childhood, I have struggled with a gender identity that is different from those around me. Making music has been a source of encouragement and hope for my life. Music is an energy drink for the soul. Music quenches the thirsty mind and creates energy for the future. Music is an exercise for the mind. It soothes our depressed moods and helps us relax.
