Woke up in a dream

Grew up, thought I'd see

Everything that I could be

It ain't all that it seems

Once upon a time, there was a young kid with a heavy mind

Not that kind, he a good soul, watch his mama cry

Grew up in the Chi, where the streets change, he was forced to fight

Had no place to shine, but the darkness always stole his light

And his dreams fly, left behind on the other side

Another story fades, mama calls on another line

And his mama cries, said she never could forget the night

She could never sleep again 'cause she never seen a better life

Woke up in a dream

Grew up, thought I'd see

Everything that I could be

It ain't all that it seems

Still here, so you must want me

Not yet, but you gotta trust me

Falling, never lost a step

Saw you, knew it from the jump

Lost you, couldn't call it love

And you knew I never gave a (Mm-mm)

And you know I never gave a (Mm-mm)

And you know I never gave a

Woke up in a dream

Grew up, thought I'd see

Everything that I could be

It ain't all that it seems

He started working as a disco DJ around 1986. He would play New Wave, Rock, Electro Pop and other genres and hold weekly events. Gradually gaining in popularity, he continued these events for about 20 years. As he continued his DJing career, he became interested in sound and studied PA operations for a short period at a sound company he knew. As he listened to bands play, he developed a desire to produce music himself, and at the time he began composing music using drag-and-drop production software called "ACID." He then began full-scale production using Logic, but took a break due to a change in his environment. He slowly started producing again about four years ago, and continues to do so to this day. He listens to a wide range of music, regardless of genre, and is experimenting with a variety of styles in terms of production.
