"Tears: Bound to the Mortal World" is a cinematic, classical instrumental piece built entirely around synthesizers, inspired by the theme of tears shed within the dungeon of this earthly life.
Taking inspiration from biblical narratives-such as Joseph's endurance in prison and Job's loss of his children-this track explores the weight of unfair suffering and the inevitable sorrow of existing in a mortal world.
Originally composed on piano, the soundscapes were meticulously crafted using vintage analog synthesizers, centered around the iconic Univox Maxi-Korg (Korg 800DV). The raw, expressive warmth and heavy tones of the dual-voice synthesizer bring a deeply emotional, nostalgic, and majestic atmosphere reminiscent of classic cinematic synth soundtracks.
Composed, performed, and produced by Joshua Okazaki.
