Artist Profile

  • Masumi Hiyoshi

    Masumi Hiyoshi is a composer and a pianist. She was born in Shizuoka, Japan. While she was still a student of Kunitachi College of Music, Composition department, she started and developped her activity as a piano artist with a piano instrumental music. She debuted in 1999 with her album "Dear". The album was released at Asia as well, and got good notives and favorable reception. After the debut, she works to compose movie and drama music as well as the activity as a piano artist. Her composed melody wrapped in bittersweet, sentimental and melancholy evokes images and/or drama, then makes an impression gradually on the audience.
