Artist Profile
homme
Formed in Matsue City, Shimane Prefecture, "homme" is a rock duo consisting of Hiroki Akiyama (vocals/guitar) and Kyosuke Shimada (bass) that began its activities in 2006. The band marked its 20th anniversary in 2026. In addition to performing numerous live shows and events across the country as homme, the members are active in a wide range of fields-including solo projects, session work, and roles as radio personalities and narrators. They also continue to share their music nationwide while remaining deeply rooted in the San'in region, having composed and provided numerous songs for local TV commercials and corporate image campaigns.
