After being scouted on the street, she debuted as [Hiroko Sato] with her first maxi single "17" in 1999. In 2004, it was selected as the theme song for the TV Tokyo drama DeepLove. In 2010, she moved to her hometown of Tochigi Prefecture and changed her name to Hiroko Sato. After appearing as a singer-songwriter on the Tokyo Metropolitan website "Tokyo Douga" in 2019, he started working on television (talent industry).
