CYYNG 's third EP, released two years after their previous release.

While continuing to build on the indie rock sound heard throughout their earlier work-drawing influence from bands associated with Captured Tracks such as DIIV and Beach Fossils, as well as the 2010s indie rock sound represented by acts like The Drums-this new EP explores a wider range of influences, including emo, krautrock, and '80s new wave. The result is a diverse collection of songs that showcases more variation than ever before.

CYYNG's signature deep reverb and vocals carrying a distinctly dry atmosphere remain firmly intact. At the same time, the EP points toward a new direction for the band, expanding upon the sound they have established so far.

For the recording and mixing of the EP, CYYNG brought on Yusuke Shinma of Studio REIMEI, who is also active as the guitarist of SAGOSAID and Vince;nt. Shinma's work brings out the unique atmosphere at the heart of CYYNG's sound while further developing their established sonic palette into a deeper, more immersive soundscape.
