I hold sound close to my heart.

Sound can make people strong, or fragile.
It can warm us, and at times, it can even become a weapon.

What is kindness, really?
Is becoming strong the right answer?
Or is it staying soft?

And before that
what does it even mean
to try to be right,
to live while searching for the right answer?

Still, I cherish sound.

May the days I was tossed around
by anxiety, by conflict,
by feelings that had no name,
turn into sound
and become someones small talisman.

I will pour all of myself into the music.

Even when these songs become part of the past,
may they stay by your side,
quietly
as a gentle charm.

May they reach
the ones you hold dear, too.

I want to keep cherishing sound.
