KAIP Releases His Long-Awaited Debut EP, "DEAR ALL"

KAIP, a rapper originally from Nagano Prefecture who is based in Tokyo, has digitally released his debut EP, "DEAR ALL." The four tracks were produced by HUGH THE KID, a producer known for supporting numerous artists, including TOKYO SEKAI. The EP features beats that blend UK garage, neo-soul, and R&B influences. Featuring on the EP is rapper ALMA, a friend of KAIP's since their school days.

This work depicts the will to move forward through one's own choices, even while wavering between ideals and reality, and the past and the present.

In "Just One," he breaks free from inertia and indecision to pursue originality, while "LIFE GOES ON" introspectively expresses the reason for continuing to fight amidst anxiety and conflict. "Dawn (feat. ALMA)" hints at a new beginning beyond past doubts and pain, while "I Feel" depicts the emotional tug-of-war between his hometown and Tokyo, along with his acceptance of himself as an unfinished work.

As these diverse emotions intersect, the album is titled "DEAR ALL" - a phrase reminiscent of the opening line of a business email - to convey the artist's intention to share these feelings with a wide audience.
