Metropolis

Arata will release their 4th single "Metropolis" on June 28th.
In their previous release "Sakura no Mae", Arata expressed the meaning of being a three-piece band with their own interpretation and hungriness with a rock sound.
This work is written and composed by Arata Yamamoto. HIT STUDIO engineer Koichi Tsuruha was in charge of recording, mixing and mastering, and mikase was in charge of the artwork. Recording was done at HIT STUDIO.
"Metropolis" is a work that compares the imaginary future in the glorious culture of the late 70's and 80's with the present age in which we actually live, and the future seen from the present age. It was created with the message that we want to reexamine the differences in values and images seen by various generations of the past, present, and future, and the stereotypical thoughts that can be glimpsed in them.
It is composed by combining the sound feeling of '80s music using FM synthesizers, retro game music, black music with rhythm and electric bass, and R&B elements.
