SMOKE TAPE

This is the debut solo EP from Luv Smoke, best known for his work with the rap duo TAKER SMOKE a group hailing from southern Kawasaki, a key hub in the current Japanese hip-hop scene.
The EP features six tracks that showcase Luv Smokes melodic flow and lyrics that vividly capture the gritty reality of life in southern Kawasaki.
With production handled entirely by BIG NOBU and Lil Man$e, the release highlights a unique side of Luv Smoke as a solo artist. Standout tracks include "Jealous Talk" (featuring fellow local rapper Deech), "Bad Attitude" (reminiscent of the mellow sound found in TAKER SMOKEs music), and "Higashi-Ogishima," which depicts his early days of paying his dues in southern Kawasaki over a high-energy beat.
