TaLock
An artist based in the Tsugaru region of Aomori Prefecture, Japan, who made his debut on October 25, 2025 with his first single, DOTEMACHI STREET. With over 15 years of experience as a stage MC, he has played a central role at local festivals and events throughout Tsugaru, including SHIROFES, a major street dance festival held at the historic Hirosaki Castle. Seeking to evolve his craft as an MC, he began producing music as an artist dedicated to rapping Tsugaru itself. Over glittering, vibrant soundscapes crafted by female sound producer HINA, also a native of Tsugaru, he delivers distinctive lyrics infused with the Tsugaru dialect, vividly capturing the raw realities and spirit of his hometown. On January 11, 2026, he released his second single, HADENY CHILL, originally created as an opening track for live event MC performances. Now pushing forward with momentum, he is actively working toward the release of his third single in March 2026. Emerging from northern Japan, this Aomori-born artist is one to watch, bringing regional authenticity and lived experience to the hip-hop scene.
