Zero ni Naru Ame is a song about letting everything return to zero and beginning again.

While carrying what has been let go of and the uncertainty that remains, hard-edged words like resolve and being alone slowly dissolve like candy in the mouth. Pain and fear may not simply disappear, but even so, we can begin again.

This demo captures the song just as it was born, with only piano and voice, left as they were. It preserves the breath, fragility, and small imperfections of that moment - a snapshot of where Amika is now.

    Amika is a Japanese singer-songwriter and vocalist. She made her major-label debut with Pony Canyon in 1998. She currently works as an independent artist, writing, composing, and performing her own original music while also recording vocals for commercials, video games, animation, and other music projects. In 2024, she released her first original work in 25 years and continues to write, record, and release new music. Her work centers on piano-driven pop and ballads, featuring a clear, expressive vocal style and emotionally rich melodies.
