When I looked back on my music and my life, I realized that I had been losing to myself over and over again. I turned those feelings and emotions into this song.

Although my path has been different from the ideal music and life I once imagined, I came to see that this is exactly what makes me who I am. This song is about embracing that truth in a positive way. I'd be really happy if you could also listen with that same sense of acceptance.
