Artist Profile

  • PM Kenobi

A Tokyo-based rapper born in Osaka in 1995. He is a member of "EARTHKICK," a 17-piece hip-hop collective spread across Japan. Weaponizing his exceptional sense of rhythm and down-to-earth lyrics rooted in his own everyday life, he is known for a powerful rap style that speaks directly to the listener's heart. In 2026, his track "Haraboji & Aboji," which reflects his intense family history, became a viral hit surpassing 1 million total views including user-generated content on social media. The buzz transcended borders, leading to a featured interview with BBC Korea to dissect his identity and musicality. He is currently one of the most closely watched artists in the scene. He has also performed at the "Ringo Music Festival" for two consecutive years starting in 2024.
