The sea stained by the sunset, the sea at sunrise, the sea in the rain, the sea with waves blowing in the wind...
I want people to imagine their own unique sea when they listen to my songs.
And I want you to be transported back to a time when you were gazing at that sea.

I am in charge of piano and sax.
I aimed for a sound where the piano and saxophone blend together.

His songs have also won numerous awards at overseas songwriting competitions, and he is highly regarded both as a player and as a composer. Sawai has melodies inside him, and the piano is suited to expressing those melodies, and he has recently released songs that are just for the piano, which have been well received.
