Met you where the lanterns glow
At platform nine with hearts in tow
Scarves and stars in the autumn chill
You whispered dreams, I felt the thrill
You said, “Life’s just a riddle,”
With a grin so sly and sweet
I said, “Let’s start a secret club,”
Where the magic never sleeps
We’re the Wizard Club, just you and me
Spinning spells in secrecy
Dancing through this city haze
Finding light in stranger days
We’re the dreamers off the map
Skipping time on magic tracks
Notebook full of coded lines
Hidden truths in subway signs
Wands we made from chopstick wood
Believed in more than grown-ups could
We wrote charms on ticket stubs
And left them in the breeze
Wished on neon skies at dusk
And swore we’d never leave
We’re the Wizard Club, alive and free
Turning trains to alchemy
Shouting poems down the street
Laughing at our aching feet
We’re the ones the stars forgot
So we carved our own damn spot
Platform dreams and pumpkin spells
Stolen sweets from corner shelves
Autumn cloaks and whispered vows
We’re still here — still somehow
We’re the Wizard Club, no need to hide
Waltzing through the city’s tide
Wrote our names on windows’ breath
Made our pact and won’t forget
Wizard Club, we’re still those two—
Magic lives in me and you
Every leaf a page we turned…
Every spell a truth we learned

Artist Profile
starclime
There are still landscapes in music that we have yet to see. starclime is a fourteen-member music project. Taking City Pop as one of its starting points, starclime moves freely through rock, jazz, soul, R&B,EDM, classical music, ambient, experimental music, hip-hop, and musical traditions from around the world. Rather than remaining within a single genre, the project absorbs the colour, rhythm, culture and atmosphere of different forms of music, reshaping them into something new. The changing seasons. Journeys towards unfamiliar places. Memories of somewhere to return to. The distance between people. Feelings that lie beyond words. These landscapes and emotions flow throughout the music of starclime. Some things can only be expressed through song. Others only begin to reveal themselves when words disappear. For starclime, vocal works and instrumentals therefore belong equally to the same musical world. Each member brings a different musical background and a different perspective to every work, while some continue to discover and develop their own musical identity. Rather than preserving a single finished form, starclime allows the music itself to grow through change. starclime does not seek simply to add more genres. Its aim is to renew the way music itself can be perceived through the meeting of different musical worlds. Towards music that has yet to be named. Towards landscapes we have yet to discover. starclime will continue to present new ways of seeing and hearing music.
