  • Kazuya Sato

    Born in 1981 in Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture. After his student days immersed in music, he realized that the shinobi flute was the most suitable way to express his music during his university years, and in 2012, he began to walk the path of a shinobi flute player after the dedication of the flute at the demolition ceremony of the East Tower of Yakushiji Temple, a national treasure. He is also active as a composer, and his own composition "Sakura Colored Waltz" was adopted as a motif song for Yuzu's "Ame-no-Haru Reruya" and won the Japan Record Award for Excellence. In addition, he has participated in many movies and dramas with music. He is also the Saga Prefecture Karatsu Tourism Ambassador and the Ureshino Kokoro Ambassador. In 2022, they celebrated their 10th anniversary, and the album "en" released in the same year was adopted as the music content of JAL's international in-flight entertainment system "MAGIC" in the second half of 2022. Composed the athlete support sound for the 2024 Saga Prefecture National Sports Festival (formerly Kokutai) "SAGA2024". He is a musician who colors the scenery with the sound of the flute, and as a composer who weaves songs from scenes, he is widely active in Japan and abroad.
