Time has passed and now all the members are over sixty...lol
In the continuing restrictions due to COVID-19 pandemic since 2020, all the members devoted ourselves to recording over a full year. And now, we proudly introduce this album, which is a culmination of 30 years of TO-DO history! Enjoy our touching sound that we have put everything into.
In this dispiriting era, we present this encouraging music for all generations! The sound is rock & folk containing elements of progressive rock, with a nostalgic flavor of Showa period.
The title SHADOW OF THE SUN is meant to question light and shadow, front and back, and the state of the world, and TO-DO's songs also sing various ways of being centered on people. In addition, the literal translation hides the existence of Hinokage, the birthplace of DO, the town of Hinokage in Nishiusuki District, Miyazaki Prefecture.

    Band Profile Let's make songs with saiTO and kuDO! It's been 30 years since he made his maiden albums "WINGS" and "Silen T Night for Just the Two of us." And after the "indefinite saboli period" of the long~~ i ... It's been 9 years since TO's 40-year-old college buddies "Cool soul Greatest Gentlemen" (Cousorgy for short) have made a miraculous comeback LIVE. Before I knew it, all the members were over 60 years old,,, (laughs) During the self-restraint period of the corona disaster that will continue from 2020, the members worked together for a whole year to immerse themselves in recording, and finally completed the culmination of TO-DO's 30 years! Listen to a number of heart-wrenching songs. In this age of sobriety, music that will cheer up even a little bit from the young to the elderly! It is a rock & folk sound with a slightly nostalgic Showa smell that includes elements of progressive block. This time it is a song distribution from the first stage of the CD album "SHDOW OF THE SUN". The second stage "SHDOW OF THE MOON" will also be released from here from time to time in the near future.
