Laumin - Stillmoon
Releasing worldwide on August 12, 2025
Laumin's new single "Stillmoon" is a post-classical / ambient piece inspired by the feeling that something seemingly gone may still quietly exist somewhere.
The arrangement is centered around delicate layers of piano and strings, tracing the image of a fading moon at dawn.
At the heart of the song lies a scene:
"Awakening in the twilight, reaching for the curtain,
opening the window as the boundary begins to blur."
It is a moment where parting from the past and an unspoken sense of hope coexist, gently and wordlessly.
"Stillmoon" reflects not the absence of what's lost, but the soft presence that remains and the faint hope that rises through accepting it.
Laumin is a music project based in Japan. Centered around piano and strings, its melodies drift through poetic and ambiguous boundaries, portraying an imagined dawn-one that exists neither in memory nor in reality. Blending elements of post-classical, minimalism, and ambient music, Laumin weaves fragments of unspoken emotions and memories into sound, allowing them to dissolve and merge, shaping a resonance where fading moments transform into quiet hope. - Like the lingering moon at dawn.
