Bonika Soda is improvisational music by Bonika and Yasuhiro Soda.

Bonika, influenced by YMO and electronic music, is a singer-songwriter who translates the nostalgia of night, summer, and cherished memories into evocative songs.

Yasuhiro Soda, using only a guitar and effect pedals, creates sounds that embody Zen philosophy, Eastern thought, and the aesthetics of wabi-sabi, much like the single strokes of a calligrapher's brush.

This is a new form of improvisational music by these two.

    Bonika From Maebashi Gunma, Japan. Singer songwriter and guitarist. Career started with own leader band "Natural bacon egg" and solo performances only voice and guitar with Roland's analog rhythm machine. In 2017, NBE released "Night EP", "Summer EP", and "Night Harvest" from "Night EP" was included in Shimokitazawa mona records compilation album. In 2018, Got first prize of "Tower creative academy" by Tower records Japan. In 2019, Performed with Vojto Monteur(from Poland) in his Japan Tour. In 2021, performed with Mineki Murata(modern artist and performer) in the art and music live stage "Guitar drawing Drone". Composing for web ad, for example, for fashion brand "initial" work with Aoi Yamada(dancer).
