Grandma (feat. Kaoru Suzuki)
Sayuri Kusanagi, Yoshiro Makimoto, inspi+
Miss you (Miss you)
Loved one (Loved one)
Uh…
Miss you (Miss you)
Loved one (Loved one)
Uh…

Grandma (feat. Kaoru Suzuki)
Sayuri Kusanagi, Yoshiro Makimoto, inspi+
This is a song I wrote in memory of my beloved grandmother, who has passed away.
It is filled with passionate, heartbreaking, strong, and fleeting feelings while looking back on childhood and the present, such as life and death, dreams, and gender.
With Kaoru Suzuki on drums, please listen to how each member lives in the whirlpool of time amidst the reggae sound.
Artist Profile
Sayuri Kusanagi
In 2014, Sayuri Kusanagi won first place in the Solo Division of the National Gospel Koshien competition. She has since appeared on television, performed singing roles for overseas animations, worked as a hotel lounge singer, contributed to recording sessions as a backing vocalist, and served as a vocal coach. In Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa, she was recognized as "the only Japanese artist who can sing in the local language" and received offers to perform with percussionist Oswald Kouame. Together, they appeared in local concerts, television programs, and radio shows. Alongside her solo career, Sayuri launched the duo project inspi+ with guitarist Yoshiro Makimoto. Their genre-defying musical style and her soulful voice continue to captivate a wide audience.
