Close your eyes

[Verse]

Could I really be to blame for what you see

When your cold black eyes have seen no other

Can you tell me is this love or is this hate

I have given up all I can offer

It's getting darker by the hour

And it's too late to save ourselves

It's getting darker by the hour

And it's too late to save ourselves

Close your eyes

And pray that the light will come again

Before you die

Close your eyes

And pray that the light will come again

Before you die

Does your broken heart have any room for me

It's my shattered soul that you're still after

Could you really be the one who sets me free

Can you show me something that won't matter

It's getting darker by the hour

And it's too late to save ourselves

It's getting darker by the hour

And it's too late to save ourselves

Close your eyes

And pray that the light will come again

Before you die

Close your eyes

And pray that the light will come again

Before you die
