Super SHIMADA Brothers
The Super Festival Brothers born in Asakusa!!! This "true brother and brother unit" is made up of the younger brother Shoot (SHOOTSHIMADA), who was a Popteen model in his teens, and the older brother Genki (PHENOM), who was ranked second in the world for reggae dance. As a brother and sister, they have always been the subject of much discussion, including the fact that many of their songs have become huge hits, including DAP UMP's "U.S.A.", for which they provided choreography ideas, and that they were selected as dancers to perform at the closing ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics in 2021. In the past, she has performed as a dancer for Watanabe Naomi in Tokyo Girls' Colors, and as a dancer for Matsuken Samba, she has also appeared on the Red and White Song Battle. She has also been an exclusive dancer for ORANGERANGE, MINMI, and LECCA, and has worked as a backing dancer and choreographer for various artists. In May 2022, he participated in the final tournament of "THE DANCE DAY," hosted by Nippon Television, along with other world champions from various disciplines, including double Dutch, break dance, and tricking, whom he had met at the closing ceremony of the Paralympics. He has since expanded his horizons beyond the dance world, taking on challenges in terrestrial TV programs. They have support from a wide range of genres. In addition to dance, they have also begun working in music, and their song "Fuckin' Good," released by Super Shimada Brothers & OTUY PARK at the end of 2022, became a hit on TikTok. TikTok videos using the song have been viewed 20,000 times and have been streamed 4.5 million times. It reached number 4 on TikTok's Popular Songs chart and number 10 on Spotify's Oricon Chart. Unconstrained by convention or conventional wisdom, their activities and worldview are constantly evolving, expanding with flexible ideas.
