CITADEL MUSIC, the music label curated by the cocktail bar CITADEL, which operates venues in Fukuoka, Japan and Bangkok, Thailand, announces its sixth release.
This project is a collaborative album with ORANCHA, the Lo-Fi Beats and Ambient-focused alias of composer Sato Shogo of MuchaMuchaM.
Inspired by the musical heritage of Brazil-particularly Bossa Nova and Samba-the album presents a collection of fourteen instrumental tracks written around a distinctive concept: music designed to serve as background sound in bars around the world, including CITADEL itself.
Blending warm lo-fi textures, gentle rhythms, and atmospheric ambient elements, the album evokes the relaxed yet refined atmosphere of contemporary bar culture, offering a listening experience that complements intimate social spaces across different cities and cultures.
