This second album by KeptAlt explores the themes of the rainy season and the pain of parting with someone deeply important.
Rain ambience is woven throughout every track, serving as a constant sonic foundation. Layered above it are dynamic, heavily distorted textures and noise-driven arrangements whose intensity shifts dramatically from song to song. Together, these elements evoke a wide range of rainy scenes-drizzle, torrential downpours, late-night rain, sun showers, and more-creating a cohesive atmospheric journey across the album.
Lyrically and vocally, the album expresses overwhelming emotions associated with loss: grief, regret, self-directed anger, and emotional turmoil. These feelings are conveyed through intentionally distorted and fragmented vocal performances, transforming raw emotion into sound.
