This work is a soundscape piece by Toshphic. that expresses the feelings of loss and happiness that come and go at the end of summer, likening them to a swarm of lights sparkling on the sea surface.

The memories of summer, layered one upon another, reveal themselves in unexpected moments of everyday life. They are sensed through the five senses, such as temperature and smell, and restore the state of distant days that had been forgotten. The interplay and distance between the present and those memories
are expressed through layered guitar recordings and deep reverberations.

The title translates to "hachi gatsu no kyokusen." Just as the angle of sunlight reflected by the rippling sea surface constantly changes, the seasons shift their form while continuing to glow faintly within one's memories. This title, which evokes the concept of impermanence, harmonizes beautifully with the abstract sounds within the track. The two numbered tracks were created together to represent the diversity of the comforting feeling of reminiscence. I hope that the duality of the soundscape will serve as a trigger to evoke the listener's original summer landscape.
