Diary

"Diary" is a lo-fi hip-hop instrumental characterized by its distinctive melody and chord progressions, with a lingering sense of resonance. By valuing the spaces within the rhythm, I combined chill beats with sounds shaped by wavering melodies and reverberating harmonies. The piano parts were recorded live, and machine noises and ambient sounds were intentionally left unprocessed. Since I also release neo-classical works under the name Taichi Chishaki, I drew on that strength to the fullest in creating this track. It's a piece that's perfect for moments of focus or relaxation.
